Internet Filters

I’ve received several questions lately about internet filters & to recommend 1 for families.  I did some research (googling & twitter) this week in search of something to recommend.

Safe Eyes – it’s produced by InternetSafety.com & recommended by Focus on the Family & Dave Ramsey (as long as you pay cash for it :)).  It’s pricetag is $50 for a 1 year subscription.

Family Safety – free option from Microsoft; Tim Steevens says his family uses it.  It looks to do most of what Safe Eyes provides.

X3 Watch – a free software from XXX Church; great for accountability (emails any questionable site you visited to your accountability partner); they recommend Safe Eyes for further protection
