Disciple Now & A Warning

Filed under: Disciple Now,Youth Ministry — Neil @ 4:04 pm
  • The UPS man brought me a Flip Mino HD.  Can’t wait to try it out @ Disciple Now.
  • I’m starting to get the hang of Twiiter.  Thanks to my tweet Blake who gave me the rundown.  If you’re a youth parent (or really anyone) who likes communicating through txt you should join me on Twitter for Disciple NowEmail me if you have questions.
  • I’m really excited about what I saw & learned this morning from Tommy @ Collision Media.  He’s done an amazing job for us.
  • We purchased a tv for our bedroom as a Christmas gift to one another.  We’ve been using a tv tray for our “entertainment system” for over a month now, but tomorrow I’ll be mounting it on the wall.  To do the job I’ve got to run cable & put in an electric outlet.  I told my mom that I planned on doing the electrical work myself.  She said “Please, get someone else to do it.  I don’t want you to die.”  I thanked her for the vote of confidence in my abilities.
  • If I do die that’ll be 2 years in a row that I’ve missed Disciple Now.  Sorry.
  • This week I’ve been conducting interviews for the Disciple Now blog.  I think you’ll enjoy reading what these folks have to say.  The interviews are w/ a former Parkway youth minister, spouse of a former Parkway minister, couple of college students, some teens & a 1990s Parkway youth group member.

  2. Be careful in the attic running cable… You should ask Russell about what happens when you miss a ceiling joist and step through the ceiling.

Also ask Matthew and Hunter what they thought when it happened!

  3. Gary, that’s my thinking as well.

Cindy, I’ll check with the boys about that.
