Fervents

Filed under: CEF Mission Trip — Neil @ 2:19 pm

I don’t have enough to write down all of Jaden Goff’s statements & actions from this trip, but to give you a taste:

In the hallways at CEF is paintings of biblical scenes. While Jaden, Marley & I were working in the hallways cleaning lights yesterday we were also discussing the paintings. One painting was titled “Fervent Prayer.” It was a lady bowed praying. Jaden asked what fervent meant. I responded with “female servant.” She beleived me. None of the other jr. high girls know any better, so the girls are now calling themslves “fervants.”

  2. yep, I’m using it as an illustration in tomorrow’s sermon. I’m guessing that after hearing it in the sermon that still neither girl will understand.
