Recruitment via Blackmail

Filed under: Parkway — Neil @ 11:04 am

I learned many things in seminary at NOBTS to aid me in recruiting volunteers.  However, a very successful way that all of my professors ignored is blackmail.

This morning Donna & Theresa cleaned out the “computer room.”  They found several gems that were buried:

  • An old computer monitor that I’ll be using for a series in the fall called Old School
  • 1970 Church Pictorial Directory
  • 1974 Choir Pictorial Directory

The 2 directories should be very useful in helping me to recruit volunteers.  So, if I call & you turn me down for volunteering for Super Hero Day, H20, Summer Camp, etc. you may just find your fabulous 1970s church pictorial photograph displayed on the web.
